Combining art and architecture, Rain Wu explores different cultures, traditions and stories of place through drawings, sculpture, performance, essay films, and installations.  More recently, her work has centred on perishable materials, especially food, with the idea to “expand our senses in the visual arts”.

The Taiwanese artist graduated from the Royal College of Art and The Bartlett School of Architecture in London, where she continues to reside.  She is a lecturer at Goldsmiths University and the University of the Arts London.

Her work has been exhibited at Sharjah Biennial, Taipei Biennial, The Palestinian Museum, London Design Biennale, Istanbul Design Biennial, Hong-Gah Museum, and Manar Abu Dhabi.
